Phelps Hospital is a proud member of Northwell Health and a not-for-profit hospital supported by the people and communities we serve. Our full-service 218-bed acute care hospital nestled on 69 acres overlooking the Hudson River offers highly specialized care in a boutique, patient-centered setting. Our team of more than 1,600 employees and 1,100 medical staff members representing more than 65 medical specialties is honored to improve the health of the community we serve. With state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient services, Phelps is recognized for excellence in cancer care, stroke care, surgical care, gastroenterology, hyperbaric medicine and much more. Recent investments such as our multi-disciplinary neurosciences facility, the Center for Advanced Procedures allow us to deliver advanced, life-saving care, close-to-home. Phelps Hospital is supported by Northwell Health Physician Partners, a primary and specialty care medical group, with practices located on the hospital campus and in the surrounding communities.
