Caregiving is the ultimate act of love.
Introducing the
Thomas E. and Alice Marie Hales Caregivers Center
Caregivers make difference
Generosity makes this possible
Our Caregivers Program is led by a Licensed Master Social Worker and a team of trained volunteers. We are here to help ease the stress associated with caring for a loved one.
The Phelps Hospital Caregivers Center features:
· Emotional support & crisis intervention for caregivers
· Connection to resources and referrals to external supports and navigation of advanced care planning & end of life.
· Facilitation of difficult conversations and family sessions
· Monthly open-discussion Caregivers Support Group, educational workshops, and community caregiver days.
To learn more about the program, call or email Gaby Naranjo, LMSW at 914-366-1199 or gnaranjo@northwell.edu
Visit our brand-new space on the Ground Floor of the Main Hospital, next to the Riverview Café,
and across the hall from the Emergency Department.
Construction of the Caregivers Center was funded in its entirety thanks to leadership support from the Hales family and other generous donors in the community. Donor support will sustain and scale the program over time. Phelps Hospital is offering these services to caregivers at no cost thanks to the generosity of our community.
The Thomas E. and Alice Marie Hales Caregivers Center Annual Member Alliance is a group of champions for family caregivers. We invite you to join our new alliance recognizing leadership support. Your partnership will help us grow the Caregivers Center's impact, ensuring caregivers have access to the resources they need.
