Advanced Cardiovascular Care Fund at Phelps Hospital

Nearly half of U.S. adults have some form of heart disease, and it is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and worldwide. Cardiovascular disease does not discriminate; it affects people of all ages, sexes, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Not everyone shows symptoms. Preventative Care and Early Diagnoses are key to saving lives and prolonging quality of life. Phelps Hospital is expanding and enhancing our Cardiovascular Care program to meet this need.

The fund will support projects including:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Equipment

• Renovation and Enhancement of Phelps’ Cardiovascular Testing & Rehabilitation area

• Cardiovascular Lectureship: Dedicated Cardiovascular Educational Series for clinicians in all specialties and disciplines.

Integration with other specialties such as Obstetrics, Oncology and Pediatrics.
